World Sports Betting Western Province Women will be hoping to continue with their good form in the third round of the Hollywoodbets Pro Series.
The Girls In Blue will visit DP World Wanderers this weekend as they face off against the DP World Lions Women.
Both days are set to start at 10am and will be live-streamed through the CSA YouTube page.
Batter Faye Tunnicliffe believes the team is in a good place ahead of their trip to Johannesburg.
"The Lions are a good team and they have a good make-up, so I think we shouldn’t underestimate them. We are definitely back our skills to make it a good weekend for the ladies," said Tunnicliffe.
"We're playing in the highveld, which is nice, so hopefully it's a slightly more batting-friendly deck.
"The Lions have got a strong side, a couple of really good youngsters in their side and also a couple of really good, experienced players.
"They've got Tasman Brits amongst their top order batters, so all the players are never to be underestimated but I do think we are looking in quite good touch as well, so I think if we just back our skills and enjoy the game, then hopefully we'll be prosperous."
Having won both rounds of the competition, Tunnicliffe says the team draws motivation from the wins.
"I think we're on a good trajectory, we've got good momentum behind us," she said.
"There's also a really good vibe in the team, so hopefully all of that comes together and we can play some of our best cricket.
"There's really good relationships amongst players and good contesting as well in the nets, which is awesome. It's always good to have a little bit of a competitive edge and that's just how we are. We aim to play competitive cricket, so that's what we plan to do."
The week has been a good one for Tunnicliffe after receiving the news that she has been included in the Proteas Women’s squads for the forthcoming T20 International (T20I) series against England from 24 November-11 December.
"I’m feeling really, really good and very blessed. It's been a long journey, it's been a long road. Obviously, I was there in the past - I kind of fell off a little bit but it just taught me you can never get complacent," she continued.
"I just kind of want to keep my head down, keep up the grind and hopefully I can really contribute at national level.
"It's going to be a massive learning curve, the step up from provincial to national level is a big step but I just want to go in and learn as much as possible, be a sponge to all the information around and play alongside some of my good mates as well."
