Team SA at Glasgow 2026: All the medallists
Team SA’s successful 2026 Commonwealth Games campaign officially ended at the closing ceremony at The Hydro on Sunday night, where para athletics silver medallist Masala Makatu carried the flag. The 20-year old who won the silver medal in the men’s T12 100 metres, was Team SA’s first medallist in the track and field competition at these Games. The South African Sports Confederation, Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SASCOC) has announced the two athletes that will lead Team SA at the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
