Viviers closes the show for Team SA in style
The final day of competition in Angola at the 4th African Youth Games brought with it three medals for Team SA from a quiet and appreciative young weightlifter from a small town in Limpopo. Winning medal design revealed for Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games

South Africa continue to rack up the medals at African Youth Games
Team SA took their total of medals at the fourth African Youth Games to 69 after picking up another 19 medals on Sunday. Swimming again dominated in the pool, where they secured another 17 medals, while badminton earned two – both silvers in the boys and girls doubles.
