The Dafabet Warriors clinched the T20 Challenge title in a thrilling finish, emerging victorious in a super over against Goldrush Boland after the game ended in a tie.
Batting first, Boland managed to post 142 runs for the loss of six wickets in their allocated 20 overs.
Lehan Botha anchored the innings with a well-crafted 51 runs off 45 balls, including five fours and a six.
However, consistent breakthroughs from the Warriors' bowlers, particularly Senuran Muthusamy, who claimed three wickets for 24 runs, kept the scoring in check.
The Boland innings saw early wickets fall, with Clyde Fortuin (11) and Grant Roelofsen (28) dismissed within the first six overs.
Ferisco Adams provided a late flourish with 32 runs off 24 balls.
In response, the Warriors started their chase with a promising innings, led by Jordan Hermann, scoring 74 runs off 53 balls with two sixes.
The Warriors also faced their share of challenges, losing key wickets at crucial moments.
Patrick Kruger and Matthew de Villiers fell cheaply, while Tristan Stubbs added a valuable 37 runs before being run out in a tense finish.
As the innings progressed, the Warriors found themselves tied at 142 runs after 20 overs, setting the stage for a nail-biting Super Over.
In the Super Over, the Warriors scored 12 runs, with contributions from Hermann and Stubbs.
Boland, in their attempt to chase down the target, fell short, managing only nine runs.
