The Tuskers are proud to announce local Pietermaritzburg brand Coffeebox as a new associate sponsor and official coffee partner for the upcoming cricket season.

This exciting partnership brings together two proudly Pietermaritzburg brands, united by a commitment to excellence, community and growth as the Tuskers return to the topflight of South African domestic cricket.

Coffeebox, a well-loved coffee shop with multiple outlets across Pietermaritzburg, has built a strong reputation for quality, warmth, and local support. Their partnership with the Tuskers represents more than just a sponsorship – it is a celebration of community connection and a shared belief in developing talent.

CEO of KZN Inland Cricket Jason Sathiaseelan is excited by this new partnership.

“We are delighted to welcome Coffeebox as an associate sponsor of the Tuskers family. Their brand has become synonymous with quality and community spirit in Pietermaritzburg and this partnership reflects our shared values of excellence, teamwork and local pride.

"The support from Coffeebox strengthens our professional setup and we are delighted to welcome a local brand to the Tuskers family.

"We look forward to a successful journey together, both on and off the field. Cricket inspires passion and brings people together just as Coffeebox has aimed to do within our community.”

The Tuskers, fresh off an outstanding season that saw the team claim three major trophies, continue to build momentum on and off the field. With Coffeebox’s support, the Union aims to enhance the player and fan experience, expand community initiatives and further entrench cricket as a sport for all in the region.

This new partnership is another step in strengthening the professional and community foundations of cricket in KZN Inland, and the Tuskers look forward to a season of continued success with CoffeeBox by their side.

Coffeebox founder and popular local Pietermaritzburg entrepreneur, Con Malherbe, says the partnership between the Tuskers and Coffeebox aligns perfectly.

"We wanted to partner with a successful local brand, and the Tuskers were a great fit for us," Malherbe said. "After dominating Division 2 last season and being promoted back to Division 1 this season, I am very proud to be aligning with the Tuskers.

"My vision is to expand the Coffeebox brand nationwide, and I couldn't think of a better platform to use to get the Coffeebox name out there than our local cricket team, with household names like Daryn Dupavillon and Wayne Parnell playing in the squad in the new season."
