The Moothee Ram Tuskers are proud to announce Xtec as a new associate sponsor ahead of the upcoming domestic season.

The Pietermaritzburg-based company has partnered with the Tuskers ahead of the new season, further strengthening the team’s ties with local businesses.

Xtec expressed excitement at joining forces with the only professional sports team in Pietermaritzburg, noting that this partnership is an opportunity to support local talent and community pride.

"We're a proud Pietermaritzburg business that is excited to partner with a proudly Pietermaritzburg team," CEO of Xtec Cassim Khan said. "We want to get behind the Tuskers on their return to the top flight but also to there on their journey to stay in Division 1.

"To have our brand on their sleeve is a proud moment and we want to help in getting people to the stadium to come and support our local team against the country's best.

"It's an incredibly exciting time for the city and it's the perfect time for us to get behind the team."

Tuskers CEO Jason Sathiaseelen welcomed the partnership mentioning the importance of having local support for the team.

“We are delighted to have Xtec join our family of sponsors," Sathiaseelen said. "Their support demonstrates the value local businesses see in our team and together we look forward to building a successful season both on and off the field.

"The Tuskers continue to grow their commercial partnerships, ensuring strong backing as they represent Pietermaritzburg and KwaZulu-Natal Inland at the highest levels of cricket."

The Tuskers begin their new campaign when they take on the North West Dragons in the CSA 4-Day Series from 25-28 September.
