Titans Cricket and the Rotterdam Dockers T20 Team have announced a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening the financial, commercial and brand development of the Rotterdam-based team while creating new opportunities for collaboration between South African and European cricket.

Under the partnership, Titans Cricket will provide financial management and advisory support to the Rotterdam Dockers, drawing on the organization’s extensive experience in professional cricket administration, financial management and commercial development.

Titans Cricket Chief Executive Officer Dr Jacques Faul, together with the Titans Financial Manager, Samuel Prinsloo, will serve in an advisory capacity to the Rotterdam Dockers.

Other Titans managers who will assist include Pierre Joubert, Commercial Manager; Tshegofatso Rakumakoe, Marketing and Communications Manager; and Janie Marais, HR and Compliance Manager.

The agreement will also see Titans assist the Dockers in identifying and developing potential sponsorship opportunities. The two organizations will actively promote each other through their respective online and digital media platforms and will jointly explore further

opportunities for cooperation.

Faul said the partnership represented an opportunity for Titans Cricket to share its expertise while developing relationships in the growing European cricket market.

“Titans Cricket has always believed in building strong relationships and sharing knowledge within the global cricket community. Rotterdam Dockers provides us with an exciting opportunity to establish a meaningful relationship in European cricket and to assist the

organization in building strong financial and commercial foundations.”

Madhukar Shree, Managing Partner of the Rotterdam Dockers, welcomed the partnership and said that the experience and expertise of Titans Cricket would add significant value to the Dockers as the organization continues to develop.

“We are extremely pleased to establish this partnership with Titans Cricket, an organization with an outstanding record both on and off the field. Having access to Dr Jacques Faul's experience and the Titans' financial team will provide the Rotterdam Dockers with valuable guidance as we strengthen our financial and commercial structures. We also believe this partnership can open new opportunities between European and South African cricket and help us build a strong and sustainable Dockers brand.”

There is already a significant connection between the two organizations through Titans legends Heinrich Klaasen and Faf du Plessis, who are founding members associated with the Rotterdam Dockers.

“Having Heinrich and Faf involved provides a natural connection between the Dockers and the Titans family. Both have played an important role in the history of Titans Cricket and understand the culture and values of our organization,” Faul added.

Shree said the existing relationship added further significance to the partnership.

“The connection through Heinrich Klaasen and Faf du Plessis makes this relationship particularly special for the Dockers. We look forward to building on that connection and creating a partnership that delivers value to both organizations, our commercial partners

and cricket supporters in both markets.”

The partnership extends beyond financial and commercial support. Titans Cricket and Rotterdam Dockers intend to identify opportunities for future cooperation in areas such as cricket development, commercial partnerships, marketing, knowledge sharing and

international networking.

The relationship forms part of Titans Cricket’s broader commitment to developing strategic international partnerships and sharing the expertise that has contributed to its success as one of South Africa’s leading professional cricket organizations.

Titans Cricket is also pleased to announce the renewal of its partnership with Mitchum for the 2025/2026 season, extending a relationship that began in 2024 and has grown into one of the union's most valued off-field collaborations.

The renewal comes in a milestone year for the franchise, as Titans Cricket marks 40 years since its formation, adding extra significance to a partnership built on trust, consistency and a shared commitment to excellence.

Mitchum, renowned for its powerful protection and long-lasting freshness, has been a dependable partner to Titans Cricket since the relationship began, supplying both the men's and women's teams with trusted products that support them through the demands of a

long domestic season. Beyond product support, Mitchum's involvement has extended well into the matchday experience at SuperSport Park, where the brand has consistently backed Titans Cricket's home fixtures across all three domestic formats.

Fans attending matches and events at SuperSport Park have come to recognise Mitchum's presence not only through its products but through its energy. The brand has brought a fun, engaging element to activations on matchdays and at stadium events, helping to build the vibrant atmosphere that has become part of the Titans Cricket matchday experience. It is this blend of dependable product support and lively fan engagement that has made Mitchum stand out as a partner.

Joubert, welcomed the renewal of the partnership: “We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Mitchum as we head into the 2025/2026 season. Mitchum has been an outstanding partner since 2024, supporting both our men's and women's teams and helping us create memorable matchday experiences for our fans at SuperSport Park. Renewing this partnership in our 40th anniversary year makes it even more meaningful, and we look forward to building on what we have achieved together.”

As Titans Cricket celebrates four decades in the game, the continued backing of partners like Mitchum underlines the strength of the relationships the union has built over the years. The renewed partnership will see Mitchum remain a visible and active presence at SuperSport Park throughout the 2025/2026 season, continuing to support the teams and engage fans at every home fixture and stadium event.

They are also continuing their partnership with Virgin Active, a relationship that has been in place for a number of years and remains one of the union's most valued off-field associations.

The partnership sees Titans Cricket align itself with one of the leading health and fitness brands on the continent, reinforcing the union's own commitment to health, fitness and performance at every level of the organisation.

Virgin Active operates 128 health clubs across South Africa, Botswana and Namibia and is passionate about helping people of all ages live an active lifestyle. Through the partnership, Titans Cricket's men's and women's teams, as well as staff, have been given gym

membership, giving everyone within the organisation access to Virgin Active's facilities to support their fitness, conditioning and general wellbeing.

Beyond membership access, Virgin Active's staff have worked closely with Titans Cricket on activations at matches and events, bringing an active, hands-on presence that fans have come to associate with the brand at SuperSport Park. Associating with a brand of Virgin

Active's standing brings real value to Titans Cricket, reflecting well on the union while giving players and staff genuine, practical benefits that support their everyday performance and wellness.

Joubert, spoke on the continued partnership saying, “Our partnership with Virgin Active has grown over the years into one we truly value. Being associated with a leading brand like Virgin Active says a lot about the standards we hold ourselves to as Titans Cricket, both on and off the field. Giving our men's and women's teams and staff access to their facilities has made a real difference to how our people look after themselves and we've also enjoyed working with the Virgin Active team on activations at our matches and events. We look forward to continuing this partnership.”

Titans Cricket looks forward to continuing to work with Virgin Active throughout the season, both in supporting the health and fitness of its teams and staff and in bringing that same energy to fans at SuperSport Park.
