Lions Cricket really does love cricket

At DP World Lions, they love cricket so much that they want to share it with everyone.

That’s why, from 13-15 February this Valentine’s weekend, they’re heading to Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto to spread the love with a special Women’s Weekend celebration.

The double-header will kick-off with the DP World Lions Ladies taking on the Garden Route Badgers, first in a 50 over match at 10am on Saturday; and then followed by Sunday’s T20 encounter at 11am – both with free entry!

Their “Love Cricket” weekend is packed with excitement — from coaching clinics and information sessions to meet-and-greet and signing opportunities, player interactions and relaxed picnics around the pitch. It’s all about genuine connection, inspiration and celebrating the game together.

Adding to the excitement, the proud Pride will be giving away prizes worth cheering for, including tickets to both of the SA vs India Women’s T20 International matches that will be hosted at the country’s premier and iconic DP World Wanderers Stadium, namely the third T20I on 22 April, followed by the fourth T20I on the 25 April.
