The wait is over. Betway SA20 Season 4 officially gets underway today at the sold-out Newlands Cricket Ground. As defending champions MI Cape Town take on Durban’s Super Giants, fans are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy a festive "bumper" opening match experience.
Match day timings
2.30pm: Gates open (kids will be able to play on the field for the first hour after gates open (weather permitting.​ Please bring bats and soft balls)
4.20pm: Opening performance - Shimza
5pm: Toss
5.30pm: Match starts
Easing stadium access - Essential Guide to Digital Ticketing
This season, Betway SA20 has moved to a ​ digital ticketing system. To avoid congestion at the gates and potential connectivity issues, fans must prepare their tickets before arriving at the stadium.
At Home
Install the Google Wallet (Android) or Apple Wallet (iOS) on your smartphone
Download your ticket to your mobile wallet from your email confirmation or Ticketpro account. Download tickets guide. Please check that the ticket is in your mobile wallet on your phone (similar to a digital boarding pass)
Important note For security, barcodes only activate 7 days before the match. Please double check your ticket was added to your wallet in the last 7 days
Transfer Early: Use the Transfer Guide to send tickets to friends or family in advance so everyone can enter independently. Note: Transfer does require sign in from the recipient and connectivity assists this process
At the Stadium
Screenshots and duplicate tickets will not be accepted at the turnstiles
Have your mobile wallet open and your screen brightness on full for a quick scan
Families or groups: please scan each group member’s ticket first and the main ticket holder’s ticket last

Arrive Early: The "Festive Opener" Experience
Gates at Newlands open three hours before the first ball (2.30pm). Spectators are urged to take advantage of the early entry to avoid queues and enjoy the pre-match entertainment.
