Across Friday 22 and Saturday 23 May, the Champions Rugby Village is coming to Bilbao, bringing an electric festival atmosphere as part of the EPCR Finals Weekend celebrations.

Located just steps from San Mamés Stadium in Doña Casilda Park, the free-to-enter fan village will serve as the heartbeat of the weekend. It will feature live music, entertainment, food and drink stalls, family-friendly activities, cultural activations and special appearances from rugby legends.

For fans attending the matches or simply soaking up the atmosphere, the free-to-enter Champions Rugby Village offers the perfect pre- and post-match destination for one of the most anticipated weekends in international club rugby.

For fans who haven’t secured their tickets to the Finals yet, the last remaining EPCR Challenge Cup tickets are selling fast. Meanwhile, the Investec Champions Cup Final is now completely sold out across all ticket types. For supporters who can no longer attend, tickets can now be resold on the official ticketing page, to other fans at face value.

Two unmissable Finals at the San Mamés Stadium

Friday, 22 May at 9pm CEST kick-off – EPCR Challenge Cup Final

Montpellier Hérault will target a third Challenge Cup title as they face Ulster Rugby, competing in their first European final in 14 years.

Saturday, 23 May at 3.45pm CEST kick off – Investec Champions Cup Final

Leinster Rugby will aim to reclaim European glory and secure a fifth Champions Cup title, while Union Bordeaux-Bègles look to become back-to-back champions.

Champions Rugby Village Highlights

Open before and after both Finals, the Champions Rugby Village extends the excitement well beyond the action on the pitch.

Fans can test their skills with a range of rugby-inspired challenges, including tag rugby, passing accuracy tests and kicking competitions.

Entertainment will run throughout the day, featuring traditional Basque txaranga street bands, live evening concerts and DJs.

Supporters can also browse official Bilbao 2026 Finals merchandise, including apparel from Macron and visit retail stands such as official supporter Gilbert.

There will be plenty of photo opportunities for fans to capture the moment, including chances to take pictures with the competition trophies and the Investec Zebra mascot.

Official partner Jaecoo will host the “Final Meter Challenge”, a sled-push style activation giving fans the opportunity to test themselves, alongside showcasing two of its latest vehicles on-site. Brand ambassadors will also be present throughout the activation. Food and drink options - including Heineken bars - along with picnic areas, will provide the perfect setting for a full day of rugby entertainment.

For those not following the traditional Basque folklore parade to the stadium, giant screens in the village will broadcast both finals live.

Champions Rugby Village Opening Hours

  • Friday, 22 May: 11am-1am

  • Saturday, 23 May: 11am-1am

With the countdown on to the biggest weekend in international club rugby, the city is being transformed into a rugby hotspot by the Basque Government, the Provincial Council of Bizkaia and Bilbao City Council.

Two giant rugby balls now stand in the main balconies of Bilbao City Hall and the Provincial Council Palace, while some lamp posts across the city are being turned into goalposts.

The Finals weekend is even taking over the streets, with official event branding on some pavements across the city, in a campaign that is impossible to miss.

And it begins the moment fans land. Supporters arriving at Bilbao Airport will be welcomed by giant goalposts and a rugby pitch that takes over the streets, immersing them fully in the Finals weekend from the moment they arrive.
