Here we take a look at the key facts and stats from every fixture as the league phase continues.
All matches kick off at 9pm CET unless stated.
Tuesday
Shakhtar Donetsk v Sporting CP (6.45pm)
The sides' only previous meetings came in the 2008/09 Champions League group stage, when Sporting CP won 1-0 away and 1-0 at home.
Sporting CP have never lost to Ukrainian opposition in eight UEFA matches (W7 D1), and have won all four of their Champions League proper matches against Ukrainian clubs.
None of Shakhtar's 22 UEFA matches against Portuguese opposition has finished goalless.
On 3 November 2010 (exactly 16 years before this game) Shakhtar beat Arsenal 2-1 at home in the Champions League group stage.
Sporting CP's Luis Suárez has scored in three consecutive UEFA Champions League appearances, equalling the club record held by Sá Pinto and Nani. A goal here would set a new club record and equal Luis Díaz's Colombian record of four.
Galatasaray v Stuttgart (6.45pm)
This is the first UEFA meeting between the sides. Galatasaray have not beaten a German side at home in UEFA competition since a 1-0 win against Eintracht Frankfurt in the 1992/93 UEFA Cup second round. They are without a win in nine home matches against German clubs since then (D5 L4).
Galatasaray's İlkay Gündoğan faced Stuttgart seven times during his days with Nürnberg and Dortmund – he was undefeated in those games (W5 D2).
The hosts' Leroy Sané won 10 of his 14 games against Stuttgart during his spells at Schalke and Bayern (L2). He needs one appearance to reach 50 in the UEFA Champions League group stage/league phase.
Victor Osimhen (8) needs two goals to equal Burak Yılmaz (10) as Galatasaray's second-highest scorer in the Champions League proper, behind Hakan Şükür (13)
Stuttgart's only previous UEFA match against Turkish opposition was a 1-0 defeat at Fenerbahçe in last season's UEFA Europa League league phase.
Stuttgart have scored in each of their last 11 Champions League group stage/league phase away matches.
On 3 November 1999 (exactly 27 years before this match), Galatasaray beat Milan 3-2 at home in the Champions League group stage

Atleti are unbeaten in their three home matches against Bayern (W2 D1) and their last 16 UEFA home matches against German opposition (W12 D4). Their last home defeat by a German side was 1-0 against Borussia Dortmund in the 1996/97 Champions League group stage.
Atleti's Alejandro Grimaldo only lost one of his six games against Bayern during his days with Leverkusen (W2 D3) and scored in both Bundesliga matches against them in 2023/24. However, he suffered defeats in all six Champions League games against them during his time with Benfica.
Ballon d'Or winner Harry Kane has scored in each of his last ten Champions League appearances (group stage/league phase to final). Another goal would equal Cristiano Ronaldo's competition record of 11 successive scoring appearances.
Manuel Neuer (163) needs one appearance to become the German player with the most Champions League appearances outright, moving clear of Thomas Müller, and to go third on his own on the all-time list, ahead of Müller and Lionel Messi.
Bayern's Jonathan Tah has faced Atlei more times (five) than any other side in the Champions League. His record against them whilst at Leverkusen was W2 D1 L2 but away from home it is D1 L2.

Villa have won only one of their eight UEFA away matches in Spain (D3 L4), 1-0 at Celta in the 1998/99 UEFA Cup second round.
Villa's Leon Goretzka won his first four Champions League games against Barcelona, including the famous 8-2 success in 2020 as a Bayern player, though the run ended in the 2024/25 league phase.
Villans defender Pau Torres suffered seven defeats in eight games (W1) against Barcelona during his time with Villarreal (2016–2023).
