World Sports Betting Western Province Women will look to end the year on a high as they visit the Klein Karoo town in the Hollywoodbets Pro Series Round 6.
The Girls In Blue will face Six Gun Grill Garden Route Badgers Women at Recreation Ground, Oudtshoorn on Saturday and Sunday.
The games are set to start at 10am and will be live-streamed on the Cricket South Africa YouTube page.
"Winning this weekend would be great because it will help us get in the new year on high and look forward to our next game which is in February," said Yandiswa Mangele.
"As much as it is two months away, knowing that we came out victorious the last time we played will keep us pumped.
"We're looking forward to playing SWD and with the preparations we've done right from the pre-season till now, we are hoping to secure a win for both games over the weekend with bonus points."
The WSB Newlands-based side is currently sitting in second spot in the Hollywoodbets Pro 50 with 18 points while also occupying position No 2 in the Hollywoodbets Pro 20 standings with 22 points.
Mangele, who celebrated her 23rd birthday on Thursday, knows the conditions that are waiting for them in Oudtshoorn.
"We know when we travel to SWD that we will play all the overs, especially in a 50-over match because they can play a long game - so we are ready for that and to lift our energies till the last ball is bowled or the last wicket falls," she said.
"Training has been good and I will say that there has been growth and it keeps progressing in a sense that every player knows what they want out of a session and they do it.
"We also challenge each other because the opposition won't make it easy either," Mangele added that a lot still needs to be done to be on top standard.
"I think we could be better in keeping our energies higher for longer, especially at those moments in the game where fatigue starts to kick in.
"We could also be better at maintaining batting partnerships so that we can fulfil the KPI standard we have set for ourselves which will ultimately put the team in a good space."
