Toyota Cheetahs announce exciting new signing and contract extension

The Toyota Cheetahs are thrilled to welcome Tielman Nieuwoudt to the squad. A powerful loosehead prop and proud product of Grey College in Bloemfontein, Nieuwoudt brings strength and versatility to the front row.

He has represented the Blue Bulls and Bulls since 2022 and will officially join the Toyota Cheetahs ahead of the 2025 Currie Cup in July.

In more good news for the Cheetahs faithful, hooker Vernon Paulo has committed his future to the team by extending his contract for another two years.

A consistent performer in the orange jersey, Paulo has already notched up 27 appearances across multiple competitions (10 in the SA Cup, 10 in the Carling Currie Cup, two in the Toyota Challenge and five in the EPCR Challenge Cup)

The Toyota Cheetahs look forward to seeing both players contribute to continued success on the field.
