‘The Duels: Miami’ bringing LIV Golf pros and top golf creators together for team event

LIV Golf has announced a new single-event competition called The Duels: Miami, a high-energy showdown, pairing six of LIV Golf’s biggest stars with six of the world’s most popular golf content creators taking place on April 5. Designed to excite fans and push the boundaries of traditional golf, this made-for-YouTube contest brings competition and entertainment together in a new way.

As the first truly global golf league, LIV Golf has supercharged the sport through its unique team model, building new traditions and innovative fan experiences. Now, The Duels takes things to the next level, blending high-stakes competition with creator-driven content to engage the next generation of golf enthusiasts. Set against the backdrop of LIV Golf Miami, the first US event of the league’s 2025 season, The Duels will feature six two-man teams competing in a fast-paced nine-hole scramble, with each creator teaming up alongside a LIV Golf pro. This unique format guarantees a fresh new twist on the game that’s built by the creators and made for the fans.

The confirmed lineup for the first-time event will feature: Sergio Garcia and Wesley Bryan; Bubba Watson and Luke Kwon; Joaquin Niemann and Rick Shiels; Phil Mickelson and Grant Horvat; Dustin Johnson and George Bryan; Cameron Smith and Fat Perez.

To support this star-studded cast of creators and professional golfers, personalities Mason Nutt, Andrew Santino, Joey Demare (Joey Cold Cuts) and Robby Berger (Bobby Fairways) will be commentating on the ground, providing fans with minute-by-minute action.
