The group stage of the 2026/27 YesPlay Pro20 Cup is set for an exciting conclusion this weekend, with six teams battling for the two remaining spots in the Super 8s.

In Pool A, Momentum Multiply Titans have been the dominant force in this season’s competition, remaining the only unbeaten side after winning all six of their matches.

They will be joined in the Super 8s by Dafabet Boland and YesPlay Cobras, who have both won five matches. The Paarl-based Boland side sit second on the standings, however, having picked up an additional bonus point.

The fourth and final qualifying spot in Pool A remains up for grabs, with four teams still in contention for a place in the next phase.

Mpumalanga Rhinos currently occupy the final qualifying position but are level on 10 points with fellow Division 2 outfit Kaneez Tuskers. Both teams have recorded two wins and three defeats.

Should the teams remain level on points after the final round of fixtures, the Rhinos will progress by virtue of their superior head-to-head record, having beaten Tuskers earlier in the campaign.

Rhinos travel to Bloemfontein to face Flexbrands Knights at Mangaung Oval on Saturday, while Tuskers host the Cobras in Pietermaritzburg on Sunday.

World Sports Betting Eastern Storm and the Knights, who occupy fifth and sixth place respectively, remain mathematically in contention for the final spot.

Eastern Storm has won one of their five matches and sit on six points. They will need to beat the already-eliminated CSA High-Performance side in Benoni on Sunday while hoping both Tuskers and Rhinos lose their respective matches.

Knights, meanwhile, have five points and require a bonus-point victory over Rhinos, coupled with defeats for the three teams above them without any points being earned, to have a chance of sneaking into the Super 8s.

In Pool B, the qualification picture is more straightforward with the top three sides. Dafabet Warriors, Hollywoodbets Dolphins and DP World Lions have already secured their places in the Super 8s with a match to spare.

The fourth and final qualifying spot will be contested by Division 2 outfit Garden Route Badgers, who sit third on 17 points and North West Dragons, who have recorded three wins and three defeats to collect 13 points.

Dragons must beat the already-eliminated Northern Cape Heat with a bonus point and hope the Badgers lose to second-placed Dolphins at Kingsmead on Friday to secure qualification.

Eastern Cape Iinyathi and Wenbro Impalas are the other two Pool B sides already eliminated ahead of the final round of fixtures.
