The DHL Stormers ran in six tries to claim a 48-12 win against the Glasgow Warriors at DHL Stadium and move to the top of the Vodacom URC standings on Saturday.
It was a statement performance in the last home game of the regular season and puts the Stormers in a strong position heading into the final two rounds before the play-offs.
The home side came out firing and opened the scoring with a penalty from Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu in his 50th match.
They kept up their dominance and it was not long before the first try was scored, with Ntuthuko Mchunu bursting over after a well-worked tap penalty.
The big prop added a second after peeling off a maul shortly afterwards and the Stormers had a 17-0 lead after just 15 minutes.
Glasgow responded with a try from wing Ollie Smith, but the hosts hit back as a counter-attack saw Evan Roos go over for his 11th try of the season.
The Scottish team had the final say in the first half, with hooker Gregor Hiddleston scoring from a maul.
The Stormers took a 24-12 advantage into the half-time break and they added to that lead early in the second half with a second penalty from Feinberg-Mngomezulu.
The bonus point was wrapped up when captain Ruhan Nel got on the end of a pinpoint grubber from Feinberg-Mngomezulu, with the playmaker adding the conversion from the touchline to make it 34-12.
Feinberg-Mngomezulu scored the fifth try, dancing through the defence after a powerful scrum from the forwards and it was the big men who landed the final blow as replacement Keke Morabe went over from a maul.
