Defending champions South Africa cannot improve their rating with victory over Cameroon in the Rugby Africa Women’s Cup 2024 opener due to the 23.63 points difference between the teams.
However, South Africa will drop below Spain to 13th if they fail to win.
Cameroon could climb by as many as four places to 27th if they win by more than 15 points and Madagascar are also beaten by Kenya.
They are guaranteed a two-place gain if they upset the Springbok Women.
Kenya will move above China to a new high of 22nd if they beat Madagascar.
Madagascar will drop below Colombia into 28th if defeated on home soil.
Madagascar will move above Belgium and into 26th place if they win with Kenya slipping below Portugal if they lose by more than 15 points.
