Arsenal's lead in the Premier League title race stands at six points after 25 matches.

Arsenal and their closest challengers, second-placed Manchester City, both won in Matchweek 25. Arsenal beat Sunderland 3-0 on Saturday to go nine points above Man City, who then reduced the gap to six points with a late, 2-1 turnaround victory at Liverpool on Sunday.

Aston Villa are in third place but are now nine points behind Arsenal. Villa dropped points in Matchweek 25 with a 1-1 draw at AFC Bournemouth and are on a run of only one win in their last five Premier League matches.

Man City can cut the gap to Arsenal to three points, at least temporarily, if they beat Fulham at home on Wednesday.

A win for Man City would then put big pressure on the Gunners on Thursday, when they travel to high-flying Brentford, who are seventh in the table after four wins in their last six matches.

There are some massive matches in the title race over the next few weeks, with Man City hosting Newcastle United on 21 February, a day before Arsenal head to Tottenham Hotspur for the north London derby.

Arsenal and Man City both face Chelsea in their next six matches, before a potential title-deciding head-to-head, at the Etihad Stadium, between Man City and Arsenal in mid-April.
