The Nedbank Golf Challenge, in honour of Gary Player, will this year feature a brand new hospitality offering that will enable the general public to significantly elevate their experience of ‘Africa’s Major’ and watch world-class golf in style at the Gary Player Country Club this December.
The new public Hospitali-TEE Lounge, available to book here, is a luxurious step up from the normal day visitor experience of the Nedbank Golf Challenge as it brings a premier hospitality offering to those fans not accessing the traditional corporate hospitality.
The early launch of this public hospitality option comes ahead of what is expected to be another record edition of the Nedbank Golf Challenge, with defending champion Max Homa already announced as returning for the December 5-8, 2024, tournament which forms part of the 2025 Race to Dubai on the DP World Tour.
This will be the only hospitality facility that the public can purchase tickets to and with limited capacity and an already high enquiry demand fans are urged to secure their spot within the lounge timeously.
Located close to the Public Village, the Hospitali-TEE Lounge will offer a comprehensive VIP experience that includes an official entrance ticket to the Nedbank Golf Challenge, accreditation for exclusive access to the Hospitali-TEE Lounge, a premium buffet serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks, a fully stocked open bar, an all-day coffee station, a live television feed of the golf, daily live entertainment, a daily player autograph opportunity, a sunscreen station, daily prizes and competitions and official Nedbank Golf Challenge merchandise. “The Nedbank Golf Challenge has become synonymous with an unrivalled corporate hospitality experience that grows in demand every year. This year we have launched an exciting new offering that brings this same experience to the general public,” said Ken Payet, Nedbank Golf Challenge Tournament Director.
“The Nedbank Golf Challenge is an experience beyond just the golf and Sun City is the backdrop for a week that is as much about world-class entertainment as it is about top quality golf. The Hospitali-TEE Lounge brings all of this together in a new hospitality offering that presents yet another unique way to experience ‘Africa’s Major’.”
The Nedbank Golf Challenge has been a highlight of the South African sporting calendar since its first edition in 1981 and is held in honour of South African sporting legend and nine-time Major champion Player, who has been associated with the event since it’s inauguration more than 40 years ago.
Last year Homa joined a glittering list of Nedbank Golf Challenge winners as he became the first American winner since Jim Furyk triumphed in back-to-back years in 2005 and 2006.
European Ryder Cup star Tommy Fleetwood enjoyed wins in 2019 and 2022, joining stars such as South African golfing icon Ernie Els – a three-time winner – the legendary Seve Ballesteros and Major champions Bernhard Langer, Ian Woosnam, Sir Nick Faldo, Retief Goosen, Trevor Immelman and Danny Willett.
The Nedbank Golf Challenge is once again included on the DP World Tour schedule in partnership with Nedbank and Sun International, with tickets available to buy here now.
