From breathtaking batting and bowling performances to nail-biting finishes, Season 4 of the Betway SA20 once again delivered an incredible showcase of cricketing brilliance, drama, and flair.

Key to the league’s continued success was a star-studded collection of the world's best cricketers thrilling packed out venues. As a result, the competition for the season awards ran almost until the final ball at Newlands but these are the standout individuals who ultimately earned the title as 'best' in their category.

Betway Player of the Season: Quinton de Kock (Sunrisers Eastern Cape)

De Kock was at his destructive best in his first campaign with Sunrisers Eastern Cape, racking up 148.60 MVP points with consistent, high-impact performances. His leadership and explosive batting at the top of the order were central to the Sunrisers' charge to the title, and he claimed 15 catches behind the stumps - including a few 'worldies' - reaffirming his status as a T20 maestro.

Batter of the Season: Quinton de Kock (Sunrisers Eastern Cape)

With 390 runs at a blistering strike rate of 148.85, De Kock blazed his way to the top of the run charts. His ability to dominate PowerPlays and accelerate under pressure made him the season's standout batter. Nobody scored more than his four 50s, while he smashed the joint-most fours (32) and fourth-most sixes (23).

Bowler of the Season: Ottneil Baartman (Paarl Royals)

Baartman’s 20 wickets at an economy of 9.13 reflect his wicket-taking prowess in high-pressure situations - and sees him finish the campaign as the leading wicket-taker across the four seasons of the League (61).

Royals’ spearhead often struck in crucial moments at the back-end of innings to stifle teams trying to take matches away from the boys in pink.

Rising Star: Jordan Hermann (Sunrisers Eastern Cape)

Hermann (24) impressed with maturity and flair beyond his years. His 83.77 MVP ranking points reflect an impressive season where he not only anchored innings but also played key finishing roles yielding 273 runs and also clung onto five catches which cements himself as one of South Africa’s brightest young prospects.

It’s raining sixes Award: Dewald Brevis (Pretoria Capitals)

With a 100 in the Final, Brevis lived up to his billing as the League's most expensive player and the 22-year-old also smashed 30 massive sixes - sealing the It's raining sixes seasonal award with seven in the final. Brevis thrilled crowds with fearless hitting which lit up venues across the country with every strike.

Absa Moneyball Saver of the Season: Marco Jansen (Sunrisers Eastern Cape)

Jansen’s 124 dot balls across the season showcased his economy and control across all phases of the innings. His tight lines helped limit opposition scoring and build pressure, duly earning him Season 4's Absa Moneyball Saver accolade.

Spirit of Cricket Award: Sunrisers Eastern Cape

For the fourth season running, Adrian Birrell's Sunrisers Eastern Cape were recognised for their exemplary conduct. Match officials praised their sportsmanship, team culture, and respect for the game.

Groundsman of the Season: Braam Mong (Newlands)

Mong’s exceptional preparation of Newlands, home of MI Cape Town and the host venue of the exciting Season 4 Final, ensured a perfect stage for cricketing drama across the six matches hosted at the venue. This is his second time in a row winning the acknowledgment.
