Lyon is set to take centre stage once again as the OL Stadium prepares to host the Investec Champions Cup Final and EPCR Challenge Cup Final in May 2027, reviving the unforgettable atmosphere of its sold-out 2016 showcase. The official ticket sales timeline for the 2027 EPCR Finals Weekend has now been confirmed.

The rugby showpiece will see the EPCR Challenge Cup Final take place on Friday 21 May, followed by the Investec Champions Cup Final on Saturday 22 May. Two days. Two finals. One unmissable weekend celebrating the very best of international club rugby in the gastronomic heartland of France.

This will be the sixth time France has hosted the EPCR Finals Weekend, and Lyon’s second occasion as host city. The 59 186-capacity OL Stadium proved its credentials in 2016, when Saracens defeated Racing 92 (21-9) to claim their first European crown, while Montpellier Hérault Rugby edged Harlequins (26-19) to lift the Challenge Cup.

Fans can expect another landmark occasion in 2027, with world-class rugby, a vibrant atmosphere and a city renowned for delivering major sporting events.

At the heart of the weekend is the OL Stadium, home to Olympique Lyonnais. A modern, sustainable venue powered entirely by renewable energy, it meets the highest environmental standards and has already hosted major global sporting moments, including Rugby World Cup fixtures, Six Nations matches and Olympic events.

Beyond the stadium, Lyon offers a unique backdrop for a major sporting weekend. Known as the French capital of gastronomy, the city blends history, culture, and cuisine in a walkable setting along the Rhône and Saône rivers.

Two finals. One iconic city. A weekend of unforgettable rugby.

Be part of the biggest weekend in international club rugby.
