The Fidelity Titans secured a resounding 168-run victory over the Six Gun Grill Garden Route Badgers in Saturday’s Hollywoodbets Pro50 clash in Oudtshoorn.

Batting first, Titans posted an imposing total of 250/5. Leading the charge was Sune Luus, who anchored the innings with an unbeaten 114, demonstrating her class and resilience at the crease. She was well supported by Gandhi Jafta (60) and Eliz-Mari Marx (33*), who provided crucial partnerships to set a formidable target.

The Titans’ bowlers then took centre stage, with Paulinah Mashishi delivering a career-best performance.

Her exceptional spell saw her claim five wickets for just 10 runs in nine overs, dismantling the Badgers’ batting lineup. The Badgers were bundled out for 82 runs, giving the Titans a decisive win.

Meanwhile, in Durban, the Knights cruised to a six-wicket victory over the Hollywoodbets Dolphins. Dolphins struggled with the bat and were dismissed for 134.

Knights' bowlers were relentless, with Evodia Yekile leading the attack with four wickets. Miane Smit and Zintle Kula each contributed with three wickets, ensuring the hosts were kept in check.

Chasing 135, the Knights comfortably reached the target, driven by Luyanda Nzuza’s unbeaten 43. The young star, fresh from the ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup, showed remarkable composure to see her side home.

At the WSB Newlands, the DP World Lions secured a 62-run victory against World Sports Betting Western Province.

Batting first, the Lions posted a competitive total of 241/6. Sunette Viljoen-Louw was the standout performer with an impressive 87, well supported by Sinalo Jafta (46).

Defending their total, Lions showcased a disciplined bowling performance, led by Raisibe Ntozakhe, who claimed three wickets. Western Province struggled to build partnerships and were eventually bowled out for 179, handing the Lions a comfortable win.

In Sunday’s Hollywoodbets Pro20 fixtures the Titans continued their winning momentum by defeating the Garden Route Badgers by 23 runs.

The Dolphins bounced back with a 54-run victory over the Knights, avenging their defeat in the Pro50.

Western Province also turned the tables on the Lions, with Faye Tunnicliffe anchoring the chase with an unbeaten 65. Despite Tazmin Brits’ valiant half-century (56), the Lions fell short as Western Province clinched a six-wicket win.
