In Parma, sport is all about history, tradition, culture, passion and emotion. That's why BKT, the northern hemisphere title sponsor of the United Rugby Championship and the Serie BKT, has decided to organise a “never-seen-before” event in Italy, focused on both competitions.
To celebrate the fantastic moment that the sports scene in Parma is experiencing, BKT will bring together fans of Parma Calcio and Zebre Parma at Parco della Cittadella where from 10.30am to 6.30pm they will be the stars of "Parma takes the field".
The aim of BKT's initiative is to provide the entire city with a day of celebration promoting a message of inter-sport collaboration, inclusivity and fandom. Fans and the general public alike will have a great time participating in the various activities prepared by the sponsor of Serie BKT and BKT URC.
To get into the spirit of Parma v Lecco and Zebre Parma v Glasgow Warriors and to enjoy the pre-match atmosphere, BKT has invited two of the most iconic players in the history of the clubs for an autograph signing session and fan engagement opportunities.
Alberto Di Chiara, legendary player of "Magico Parma" and George Biagia historic leader and captain of Zebre Parma, will be at BKT's fan zone from 11.30am to 12.30pm signing fan memborabilia and giving away BKT balls, as well taking part in photos with fans on the iconic BKT supporters bench.
This event is organised in collaboration with United Rugby Championship and Lega Nazionale Professionisti B together with Havas Play and with the support of the City of Parma.
During half-time at Ennio Tardini Stadium, there will be the "BKT Football Truck Challenge" where two Parma Calcio fans will compete in a speed competition with the BKT Football Truck, the remote-controlled model now famous as the official ball carrier of Serie BKT. At Lanfranchi Stadium, Zebre Parma fans will compete in a skills challenge.
Before the matches, Alberto Di Chiara and George Biagi will entertain their fans by taking a lap around the field accompanied by the cheers of the crowd. Additionally, thousands of BKT branded merchandise will be distributed.
So, everything is set for a fan-focused day with BKT, that will provide a special moment for all supporters of Parma Calcio and Zebre Parma.
