Key stats from the Champions Cup semi-finals

• Leinster Rugby and Stade Toulousain will both be making their eighth final appearance when the two most successful clubs in the history of the tournament clash in the showpiece match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 25 May.

• The 82 300-capacity attendance for the Leinster v Northampton Saints semi-final at Croke Park set a new record for a tournament match surpassing the 82 208 at the same venue in 2009.

• The combined attendance of 114 794 for the semi-finals at Croke Park and Le Stadium is the second highest in the history of the tournament only eclipsed by the 126 420 total from 2009.

• Leinster’s Cian Healy has now made the most appearances by a player in the history of the tournament. By registering his 111th appearance on Saturday, the 36-year-old, who also played in the 2009 semi-final at the same venue, moved one ahead of Ronan O’Gara of Munster Rugby.

• Leinster’s James Lowe became the first player to score three tries in a tournament semi-final.

• Chandler Cunningham-South and Andre Esterhuizen (both Harlequins) made the most post-contact metres in the semi-finals: 31 and 27 respectively. Esterhuizen also beat the most defenders (six).

• Northampton's Juarno Augustus made five dominant carries, beat five defenders, made two clean breaks, two dominant tackles, and won a turnover against Leinster.

• Antoine Dupont was the only back who won two turnovers in the semi-finals. Teammate Thibaud Flament also won two.

• A round-high five of Jamison Gibson-Park’s kicks were retained last Saturday. He also made two try assists and won a turnover.
