Free entrance to Under-19 final

The future of cricket takes centre stage in Ekurhuleni, South Africa, as India and Australia bring the heat in the highly anticipated ICC U19 Men's Cricket World Cup final on Sunday.

Cricket South Africa (CSA) is extremely proud to have hosted a successful and incident-free ICC U19 Men's CWC tournament consisting of 41 matches, challenged by 16 teams and played over five venues including Bloemfontein, Kimberley, Potchefstroom, East London and Benoni.

The ICC U19 Men's CWC has a rich legacy of forging the next generation of superstars, with the likes of Aiden Markram and Kagiso Rabada having made their introduction on the international stage at an ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup.

Who will take the coveted title? Witness the next generation of cricketing stars as they battle for glory at Willowmoore Park Stadium in Benoni on Sunday from 10am, in an unmissable, free for all event.

This family-friendly spectacle welcomes cricket enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds to celebrate the spirit of the game, fostering a truly inclusive and celebratory atmosphere, where sport unites us all. Families are encouraged to bring picnic baskets (excluding alcohol) and enjoy a day jam-packed with sporting vibes, entertainment, and a showcase of youthful talent.

Beyond the electrifying on-field action, Willowmoore Park transforms into a vibrant festival ground, featuring a line-up of DJs to maintain high energy with the hottest playlists, including a live performance by SA’s No 1 diva, Veronique “Vee”, who has wowed audiences across the country with her powerful vocals, bubbly personality, unique style of glamour and wonderful stage presence.

There will also be braai areas available along with the option to indulge in delicious foods available from the six vendors on-site who cater to all tastes. Young fans will also have the opportunity to unleash their inner cricketer in the mini-cricket area, bounce around in inflatables and jumping castles, or get creative with face painting.

Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the future of cricket unfold, as defending champions, India, aim to retain the title against Australia who last claimed the title in 2010.

Cricket South Africa (CSA) extends its sincere appreciation to the International Cricket Council (ICC) for entrusting them with the responsibility of organising a global showpiece event on South African soil. It goes without saying that this tournament could not have been brought to life without the steadfast support of our stakeholders, dedicated staff, and all volunteers involved.

Mark your calendars, gather your friends and families, and head Willowmoore Park Stadium on Sunday to be part of history, celebrate the spirit of the game and create memories that will last a lifetime.
